GIROUD ‘ON OFFER IN JANUARY’

- BY NEIL McLEMAN

OLIVIER GIROUD’S agent has admitted the France striker is open to offers in the January transfer window – but will not force his way out of Arsenal. The striker (below) wants more game time to ensure he makes the World Cup squad. Boss Arsene Wenger has insisted Giroud will not be allowed to leave in the next window. But Giroud’s agent Michael Manuello said: “Conflict is not in Olivier’s nature. It is normal for Arsene to take this position publicly. If there is a transfer, it will be outside France. There will be approaches and, if there is something obvious, we will try to convince Arsene to reconsider what has been said.”
