Chest cannot escape David

Yet another book from the madcap mind of David Walliams hits the small screen this festive season.

As well as Ratburger on Sky One he also stars with Jennifer Saunders and Sir Tom Courtenay in Grandpa’s Great Escape, the story of an OAP with Alzheimer’s who flees a care home, with his grandson’s help.

Jennifer, right, plays cattle-prod wielding Miss Dandy, who runs the home. She says David couldn’t keep his eyes off the false boobs she wore, adding: “They were rather large. David thought they were mine! He was disappointed when I took them off.” Watch on New Year’s Day, BBC 1, 6.55pm.
