CONTE GIFT RAP FOR KIDS

ANTONIO CONTE has warned he will not hand out “stupid presents” to his Chelsea players.

But he promised they will play if they deserve it – like Andreas Christensen, who Conte reckons is a potential future Chelsea captain capable of emulating club legend John Terry.

The Italian will ring the changes tonight against Bournemouth. Michy Batshuayi gets a rare start up front, while Kenedy and Ethan Ampadu are other fringe players in the side. Conte (left) said: “I have the right expectations for the players who are not usually playing with regularity, but deserve this chance. If they don’t deserve it, I don’t like to give stupid presents – if you deserve it, you’ll have your chance.” On defender Christensen, 21, he added:“I wish for him to have the same career as John Terry.”
