The people of Britain have spilled the beans about the most disappointing presents they’ve been given for Christmas, and the boffins at the Department Of Unwanted Gifts were appalled, if not surprised.

The Department Of Unwanted Gifts (DOUG) disposes of the disappointing, dull, and desperate presents handed out at this time of year, and asked you, the people of Britain, about the worst Christmas gifts you had received or given.

According to DOUG’s research*, 93% of Brits think it’s important that the recipient likes a Christmas gift. So the other 7% of you must be very busy at this time of year, if our findings are anything to go by.

The Department Of Unwanted Gifts asked the whole of Britain which were the very worst presents you had received, and your answers fell into three categories: the cheap, the crazy, and the calamitous.
