CHEATER DAD 70 WANTS TO MARRY AGAIN

My dad is about to turn 70 and he’s just announced he’s getting married again (the third time) to a woman in her early 30s.

My mum left him years ago due to his cheating, and his second wife also dumped him for the same reason.

He’s only known this woman for nine months and me and my brothers are finding it hard not to tell him what we think. Are we going to let our kids get to know this woman, only for her to disappear like the last one because my dad can’t keep it in his trousers? Will he never learn or act his age?

Maybe not, but it’s his life. You can have a chat to him and ask if he’s sure he wants to go down the marriage route again, given it doesn’t seem to suit him and he might end up with another divorce under his belt. But that’s all you can do. You have to let him make his own decisions and his own mistakes.

Don’t let it drive a wedge between you or stop your kids from seeing their grandad.

You never know, this woman might be the one to tame him and make him finally settle down!
