SWITCH ON & SAVE LIVES

I got a lump in my throat when reading about the fatal collision in Birmingham which killed six people (Mirror, December 18). The carriageway in question is close to my place of work and is well known for speeding “boy racers”.

Hopefully, the council will now consider switching on all the speed cameras, especially those on the busy roads around the city. It could save lives. My heart goes out to families of the victims. It is truly horrific. Rob Wildey, Tamworth, Staffs
