WE’LL MAKE REDS PAY THE PENALTY
CHRISTIAN FUCHS insists Leicester are ready to beat Manchester United after giving Manchester City a big scare in the League Cup.
The Foxes’ display in the penalty shootout defeat was much improved on their previous 3-0 league loss to Crystal Palace.
Claude Puel (right) and his men host the Reds on Saturday in the Premier League and defender Fuchs (above) said: “A penalty shootout is never really a fair game, it’s just very unlucky. We tried and it didn’t work out. “But it gives us a good feeling with the way we played. We didn’t win but kept possession, it felt good and gives us confidence back. “We’re happy with the performance. We can be proud and go into the United game with a good feeling.”
