MASSIVE CITY DEAL FOR ALEXIS

ALEXIS SANCHEZ is heading for a mega deal at Manchester City worth £400,000 a week.

Sanchez (above) will be quids in because City are prepared to wait until next summer and sign the Arsenal star as a free agent at the end of the season.

The Chile superstar will get a signing-on fee and the package will add up to around £325,000a-week salary, PLUS image rights worth £75,000 a week.

That would make him one of the world’s top earners – boosted by the fact he will not cost City a transfer fee.

Sanchez has already turned that sort of figure down from China and has made it clear to Arsenal he is going to quit.

City are confident they can wait until next summer before signing him, even though Paris Saint-Germain remain keen and could bid in January.

The Blues bid £60million in August for Sanchez but the deal did not happen as Arsenal were unable find a suitable replacement in time.

Former Gunners midfielder Tomas Rosicky has announced his immediate retirement from professional football.

The 37-year-old Sparta Prague star said: “I am no longer able to fully prepare my body for what professional football requires.”
