UKIP rep took £46k off OAP
AN ex-UKIP councillor plundered £46,000 from a 98-year-old war veteran’s bank, a court heard.
Stephanie Todd, 57, also got Philip Wall to change his will in her benefit.
Todd, of Catterick, North Yorks, was found guilty of theft. The ex-Richmondshire councillor will be sentenced next year as she was too ill to attend Teesside crown court.
Widower Mr Wall was said to be “devastated”.
A source said: “She was manipulating him.”
