Sick Kate hate

I’m not in the habit of defending Tory activists, but the bullying treatment meted out to Kate Maltby after accusing Damian Green of sexual harassment has been appalling.

The way abusive coverage and Tory online abuse repeatedly showed her dressed in a corset was clearly designed to do one thing only – suggest that she had been ‘asking for it’.

Why do we still need to repeat in 2017 that the issue is not how Maltby dresses or even whether she is a nice person? The issue is how the second most senior politician in the country – until yesterday morning – behaved. DISGRACE Damian Green
