UNITED XMAS FIXTURE MOAN: IT’S NOT FAIR

- BY DAVID McDONNELL

MANCHESTER UNITED are angry at the festive scheduling which has left them with the fewest rest days of any of the top clubs.

The club’s official website revealed Jose Mourinho (above) is unhappy at the spacing of United’s games, which gives his team just six days off over their four matches.

Mourinho’s side face Leicester away in tomorrow’s late kick-off, then Burnley at 3pm on

PAUL POGBA has been told to stop overdoing it to become a top Premier League midfielder.

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes reckons goalscorers of his ilk from the centre of the park are a thing of the past, and that Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante is now the “perfect” Premier League midfielder.

Scholes said: “Pogba (above) can be a box-to-box midfielder, although he can do a lot better, especially score more goals.

“He should try not to do so many complicated things. He doesn’t have the profile to dribble past four players and hit it in the top corner. He will never be that type of player.”
