Vase gets fair crack at £40k

A CRACKED Chinese vase valued initially at £30 has been sold for £40,000.

The three-inch high porcelain piece comes from the 18th century reign of emperor Yongzheng.

Shouler & Son auctioneer­s, of Melton Mowbray, Leics, said: “We could not believe the bidding.”
