May: I knew nothing of claims over Green Premier praises RAF over the defeat of IS ‘Not just Mrs Brexit’

GONE Damian Green driving home yesterday THERESA May has denied she was alerted last year to Damian Green’s behaviour.

Tory activist Kate Maltby, who claims Mr Green made inappropri­ate advances towards her, said she told a senior No10 aide in 2016.

But the Prime Minister insisted: “I first learned about these allegation­s when Kate Maltby wrote about them in The Times.”

Mr Green was sacked after an inquiry found he had made misleading statements over claims he had pornograph­y on his computer.
