1937 – Australia reversed their order. The ‘tail’ batted out on a wet wicket before Don Bradman hit 270 going in at No.7.

1977 – A one-off Test to mark 100 years since the first Ashes match. England were set 441, but ended 45 runs short.

1982 – Australia still needed 74 with one wicket left. Allan Border added Botham 70 and snaffled until Jeff Ian Thomson the final wicket. 1986 – England retained the Ashes with Chris Broad scoring 141. 2010 – And the tourists did it again, Jonathan Trott (right) hitting an unbeaten 168.
