JONNY HOWSON admitted it has been “difficult” turning Middlesbrough around.

With Boro outside the play-off zone, boss Garry Monk lost his job last week.

And Howson (left) said: “It can be difficult mentally to turn a club around after relegation – I experienced it at Norwich. But there’s more to come from this squad.”
