Mum fatally knifed saving her daughter
A WOMAN has spoken of how her mum died in her arms after saving her life during a knife attack on Christmas Day.
Charlotte Reat, 21, said she suffered knife wounds to her head, face and neck and her mother Jayne Toal Reat was stabbed as she tried to protect her.
Police believe another woman and a man were also injured in the attack in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, in the early hours of December 25.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested and a murder inquiry launched.
Charlotte wrote on Facebook: “I can still feel her in my arms and hear her screams of pain and see the panic on her face.”
She then said of her mum: “You’re my hero forever and always.”
