ROLL ON

You’re looking at the future, or at least Renault’s vision of it. The car is the SYMBIOZ, a futuristic looking machine that has been developed for autonomous driving trials and experimentation up to Level 4.

If you remember the feature on autonomous cars last month you’ll know that Level 4 is ‘eyes off’ and ‘hands off’ on specific roads for driverless cars.

Renault will be using the concept car to develop individual systems including Suzuki has announced prices for its café race-styled SV650X. The bike comes with a 70s-style bikini fairing with a tinted screen, a tuck-roll seat (your guess is as good as mine) and clip-on handlebars. Yours for £5,999 and it’s due in the dealerships early in 2018.

Vauxhall is running a sales campaign that started on Boxing Day and runs until January 15. No specific deals are being mentioned but the firm says discounts of up to 20% will be available throughout the range.

I’m pretty sure 2018 is going to be a tough year for car sales and Vauxhall clearly thinks so too, so is hoping to kick the year off with some big results.

Pop down to your local Vauxhall dealer and test out your haggling skills right away.
