PAUL POLMAN
PG Tips owner Unilever, headed by CEO Paul Polman, saw off a saucy £115billion takeover bid by US giant Heinz.
Unions feared the mega deal would lead to savage cost-cutting and job loses.
Heinz backtracked but it prompted Polman to order a major review of Unilever, which makes everything from Magnum ice cream to Marmite.
The Flora spreads arm is being sold, and it could also mean the closure of Colman’s mustard factory in Norwich.
