Great-great-great gran meets new addition
SIX generations of a family celebrated their newest member, as a newborn baby met his great-great-great gran.
Evelyn Flavell, 102, has held Sonny Newsome for the first after he entered the world on December 3.
New great-grandma Katrina Callam, 55, said the family had been toasting the landmark over Christmas, adding: “Our family just adores babies and Evelyn meeting Sonny was such a nice occasion.”
Evelyn lives in South Kirkby, West Yorks, a few minutes from daughter Marion and grandtime daughter Katrina, with the youngest three generations in Barnsley, South Yorks.
The world record for most living generations is seven, achieved in 1989 by a US family.
