Iain Glen, who plays dead celebrity head chef Leo, lurches from scene to scene in the style of the grim reaper, commenting on events like a soap opera villain.

It transforms every normal, mundane occurrence into something sinister and tense.

Meanwhile, Dawn French and Emilia Fox play the two women in his (former) life, doing their best to rub along happily at their hotel restaurant the Penrose.
