Ollie’s hell on return to the Den

- DARREN WITCOOP

IAN HOLLOWAY has been warned to expect a red-hot reception on his return to Millwall tonight.

The QPR boss heads back to the Den for the first time since his sacking in March 2015.

Holloway was axed after winning just 14 of his 62 games in charge of Millwall.

Following the 2-2 draw in the corresponding fixture in September, Ollie said: “I kept them up once and they chose to sack me – and Neil Harris was in charge when they went down.”

The game will now have added spice. Holloway, who had previously managed south London rivals Crystal Palace, failed to win over the Millwall fans during his 14-month reign.

That is in stark contrast to Harris, who has only enhanced his cult-hero status as a Lions legend from a player to a manager.

Harris led Millwall back into the second-tier and he said: “The fans are looking forward to it and I think we’re almost sold out.

“That goes to show how excited we are for it. The atmosphere will certainly be electric – it’ll be hostile.”
