Gay vicar, 79, is skint after toyboy split
A RETIRED vicar who married a 24-year-old male model says he is broke and homeless after they split.
Philip Clements, 79, tied the knot with Florin Marin in April after they met on a dating website.
Mr Clements sold his home in Sandwich, Kent, to buy a flat in Romania, but days after handing Mr Marin the keys they had a row and broke up.
Now back in the UK, he said: “I wanted Florin to have security when I die.
“I’ve lost everything. I stayed with friends until I was given a granny flat attached to a pal’s house. I regret selling my home.”
Mr Clements admitted the pair are still in contact and may find a flat in Kent.
He added: “Florin’s not doing it for money because I haven’t got much left.”
