Social care funding fear

TENS of thousands of people will not receive essential support next year because of cuts to social care, ministers are warned.

Without urgent cash, a “point of no return in 2018” will be passed, says the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services.

It added: “So many organisations that provide care are quitting the sector because of low returns and recruitment problems.”
