Wages to fall again in 2018
REAL earnings in the UK are set to fall by 0.7% next year putting Britain at the bottom of the wage growth league, the TUC warns.
But Germany, France and the US will have a 1% rise after inflation, an analysis of figures from trade group OECD found.
TUC general secretary Frances O’Grady, said next year will again be tough for living standards.
Ms O’Grady said: “Wages in real terms are still lower than in 2008. And 2018 is set to be bleaker still.”
