The actress, who played Kelly in EastEnders and won an MBE for her campaign against knife crime, posted the happy snap with the caption: “Nailed it”.

Brooke, 34, who met Simon through mutual friend and TV personality Judge Robert Rinder, paused during her big day to remember her half-brother Ben, stabbed to death in London when he was 16.

She posted a picture of the sun-bathed Surrey country estate where she was about to wed with the moving message: “There was never any doubt my little angel would bring the sun out for me today.”
