Plea to fatal crash driver

POLICE are urging a hitand-run driver who killed a woman to “do the right thing” and come forward.

The 39-year-old victim, who has not been named, as hit by a car at about 7.45pm on Wednesday.

Three men were arrested over the death in Dorchester, Dorset, but released without charge.

Inspector Joe Pardey said: “I’m making a direct plea to the driver to please do the right thing and come forward. A family have been left grieving.”
