JAAP STAM insists that the boo boys will not force him to quit as Reading boss. Stam is under pressure from Royals fans as last season’s play-off final losers find themselves in the bottom half of the table. Former Manchester United star Stam (left) said: “I am confident we can still push on and do well this season. “Everybody is with me and that’s what we’ll be doing as we’re not quitters. The players are disappointed in not getting the results and we have spoken about that in the first half of the season. “You always want to win. I am a winner and I want to win games. But when you don’t, it is very frustrating.”
