Labour shuts sex inquiry

-

LABOUR has ended a probe into a sexual harassment claim against an adviser.

A party activist alleged a Westminster-based aide “forced his hands down my trousers” four years ago.

The National Executive Committee said: “There was not a prima facie case that the incident occurred.”

But the activist said: “As long as the party refuses to have an independent process, people are less likely to come forward.”
