NEWCASTLE boss Graeme Souness was told he would get no money to replace injured striker Michael Owen. Owen broke a metatarsal and was expected to be sidelined for three months. But Souness was warned he would have to cope with his remaining strikeforc­e, which consisted of Alan Shearer, Shola Ameobi and Albert Luque.
