sacking Mark Warburton, I’d like to see Nottingham Forest’s owners show a little patience and embrace all the former players working in the coaching fraternity.

There are plenty of them — Brian Roy, Steve Stone, Steve Chettle, Ian Woan, Lars Bohinen — and even if they don’t employ any of them, just take advice on what they need and where they believe the club should be in five years.

Because if they don’t, it will just be a revolving door and Forest will continue to struggle.
