Cabbie lands ‘5-matches’ jackpot on £24m Lotto
A TAXI driver has come forward to claim a £24million Lotto jackpot.
The prize on December 27, the biggest of 2017, was landed by matching five numbers and the bonus as it had to be won that night.
The cabbie and his family were due to go public in their home town of Gloucester today.
And a transgender taxi driver who appeared on Jeremy Kyle’s TV show with mayonnaise bottles taped to her breasts has won £4million.
DANCING
Melissa Ede quit her job and is now planning to wed her girlfriend after scooping the £4 Million Blue Scratchcard prize.
On the Kyle show a video was played showing Melissa dancing in her kitchen in gold hot pants with a squirty mayo bottle taped to each breast while holding a banana.
She appeared as a guest to get DNA results for her daughter’s paternity.
A professional footballer has landed a €1million prize thanks to a gift from his uncle.
Preston North End player Kevin O’Connor, 22, had the slip posted to him by Peadar Murphy, of Castlebridge, Co Wexford.
He wrote to him: “I wish you the best of luck.” The boss of the shop where the ticket was bought said: “It’s wonderful.”
