M.U.M stands for Maternity Unit Miracle, and Baby Lifeline wants to reward the outstanding contribution of one team from each of 12 regions across the UK.
The charity is looking for nominations from families who have received outstanding care from midwives, GPs, obstetricians, paramedics or any other professional in the past six years. The winners will be recognised at a glittering awards dinner in London in April.
Judy says: “NHS staff have a hard time and can get very demoralised.
“We do very well in this country, on the whole pregnancy and birth doesn’t go wrong. But when something does, the health professionals go through hell, just like the family.
“That is why we want to celebrate the great work they do.”
