I’d like to comment on the letter from the woman who objects to her husband’s choice of pyjamas (Dear Coleen, Dec 22).

Had a man complained about his wife’s nightwear, there would have been uproar that he wanted to dictate how she should dress in bed.

If a man prefers to wear pyjamas, regardless of how fashionable they are, so what? If a marriage is so flimsy that it depends on someone’s choice of nightwear, then it’s surely worthless.

My husband doesn’t wear pyjamas but, if he decided to, it wouldn’t make the slightest difference to my love for him.
