Post-Brexit trade ‘option’

BRITAIN has held talks to join a trade partnership on the other side of the world after Brexit, it has emerged.

Ministers are considering a short cut to rebuilding access to free trade by joining the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

Officials have reportedly raised it with members of the 11-nation group, which includes Australia.

The US left after Donald Trump became President.
