Ad watchdog raps net site

AN online ticket site has been slammed because its expensive premium tickets offered no extra benefits.

The Advertising Standards Authority banned Ticketmaster from using its “misleading” claim that its platinum service “offers fans the best available tickets for an event direct from the artist”.

The firm said the website wording was changed a year ago.
