Lad, 14, guilty of killer crash

A BOY of 14 has admitted killing a pensioner in a hitand-run motorbike crash.

May Laidlaw, 78, was hit by a scrambler while crossing a road in Walton, Liverpool, last month.

At the city’s crown court, the youth, who cannot be named, admitted causing death by dangerous driving and related charges.

He was bailed until sentencing next month.

Judge Clement Goldstone QC told him: “The likelihood is you will be sent away for some time.”
