Natasha’s new mum joy

SINGER Natasha Bedingfield has had the “happiest new year ever” after the birth of her first child.

Natasha, 36, tweeted a photo of herself in her hospital bed, holding up a coffee cup with the word “mum” written on it.

She wrote: “Omg! Guess what just happened at the very end of this year! The happiest new year ever!” Natasha had announced previously that she was expecting a boy. She and husband Matt Robinson, a Californian businessman, wed in 2009.

The star, whose brother Daniel is also a singer, known for hits such as Gotta Get Thru This, released her last album in 2010 but it failed to crack the charts.
