He and his family rebuilt what had been burnt down by soldiers. Financiall­y he had no choice but to graze sheep on the land and one day an animal stood on a mine. Despite his warnings, his young twin daughters were close by. “Ten sheep were killed and many more wounded. Thankfully my girls were OK,” he says. MAG’s work here is finally allowing him a sigh of relief as Sanjin and his team risk their lives to ensure his future.
