Wolves Keane on Rob return

WOLVES are planning a sensational return ‘home’ for Robbie Keane to join their promotion party.

The ex-Republic of Ireland striker, 37, is playing in the Indian Super League with champions ATK, where he is contracted until March.

But it is understood Keane (above) can secure an early release, paving the way for an emotional homecoming to Molineux, where he made his debut at 17 in 1997.

Wolves are set to sign Valencia forward Rafa Mir, 20, for around £2million. Mir, who has agreed a four-year deal, was given his debut by Molineux chief Nuno Espirito Santo at the Spanish club in 2015.
