ASKING workmates to “think outside the box” has been voted 2017’s most irritating office expression.

The saying, meaning to take a different viewpoint, is the top hate among more than 2,500 staff.

Second was “hit the ground running”, followed by “do more with less”, “can I borrow you for a second?” and “amazeballs”.

The poll was run by furniture firm Kit Out My Office, who say New Year staff resolution­s to drop the jargon will lift morale.
