Mackenzie Crook sounds a barrel of laughs down the pub, if David Morrissey, who worked with him on Sky Atlantic’s Britannia, is to be believed.
David, who plays a Roman general, tells us: “Mackenzie’s into our history. I was in a bar with him once and he’d found a Roman buckle from a shoe. He gave it to me and said, ‘That was on a Roman soldier’s shoe’. Then he had to leave as he had an early call for make-up.”
Britannia starts on January 18.
