No puppy love for orphan Ron

RONNIE the pup is looking for a new home and a new mum, just weeks after being bought online.

The eight-week-old mongrel was left at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home on Tuesday after his owner became homeless.

Steven Craddock, of the centre in South London, said: “It doesn’t shock us that the first dog through our doors in 2018 was bought online.”

He warned thousands of pups will be bought off unregulated sites and then abandoned.

Mr Craddock added: “His new owner did the right thing bringing him to us, where we can look after him and find him a loving new home, which we doubt will take long as he’s such a lovely boy.”
