Jake’s quick to make the most of a skate offer

Jake Quickenden is thrilled to be taking part on Dancing on Ice.

But while most of the celebs are looking forward to toning up and getting fit, the X Factor and I’m A Celebrity contestant, pictured with partner Vanessa Bauer, has a rather more practical reason for taking part.

“Free ice-skating!” he laughs. “In Doncaster, it’s about £7.50 a go.” Blimey, how often was he going? It must have been a lot – his prowess on the ice has made him the favourite to win.
