Mum knows best

Mum Lisa French from London has a great New Year tip to help ease the financial pressure over the festive season. She says: “From early January last year I regularly put my loose change into a money box – one of those tin ones you cannot access unless you use a can opener – and let it build up over the year. It’s amazing how much it added up to. I ended up with £260 by early December and it meant I could push the boat out over Christmas.”
