We can’t ignore UK’s homeless

Apparently lots of people make a living out of begging, you know. So said Simon Dudley, the plummy-voiced Tory leader of Windsor Council, who wants the “detritus” of homeless people’s possessions cleared before the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on May 19.

Oh, and he wants the homeless people themselves cleared too.

One such ‘beggar’ said he was on the streets because he’d been evicted from his rental flat.

This is happening all over the country. That’s real Britain for you. Heaven forbid that, come May, the rest of the world should know.

This is one headline I could have done without – ‘Chelsea Target Simeone’. What?! OUR Antonio, the man who won the Premier League in his FIRST season, the maestro who’s made our football sublime and exciting to watch, the boss who provides entertainment in the technical area as well as on the pitch? Replace him with Diego Simeone at the end of the season? NO WAY.
