JT READY FOR A BIT OF POSH
STEVE BRUCE has confirmed that Aston Villa skipper John Terry will start against Peterborough in what is the “ideal” game for his return.
The defender (below) has been out since November with a broken metatarsal, but he is ready to face League One Posh.
Bruce, who is taking charge of his 850th game as a manager, plans to ring the changes for the tie and said: “John will play. It gives me a chance to have people in the team who really need a game – and also the young players.
“Even the great John Terry needs a game so it is ideal for him. Let’s hope I pick an experienced enough team to get through the Cup tie.
“From my experience it will be Peterborough’s big day so we have to guard against that – but, hopefully, we have enough to get through.”
