THE mum of a toddler left for dead in a New Year’s Eve hit-and-run has released shocking pictures of the child’s injuries to shame the driver.

Myha Brown, two later this month, had to be resuscitated multiple times after she was hurled 10ft into the air.

She was treated for a blood clot on the brain, a broken jaw, a double leg fracture and a damaged ear. She also has facial injuries that will last years.

Mum Tasha, 40, who shared the pictures on Facebook in a bid to catch the Audi driver, said: “I really thought she wouldn’t be alive. For someone to just drive off is so heartless it’s unreal.

“I hope the driver sees the pictures and comes forward. They should take responsibility for their actions.” Myha was hit at 9.55pm on Sunday as she left Holy Name Church in Great Barr, Birmingham, with her family.

Mum-of-four Tasha said the toddler darted into the road while playing with her sister. She added: “I saw the car and couldn’t get to grab her in time.

“She was unconscious and had blood coming out of her ears.

“A guy got down straight away and gave her mouth-to-mouth.” Myha was discharged from hospital on Thursday.

But the youngster, who lives in Great Barr with Tasha and her fiance Andrew, 40, will require ongoing treatment for her facial injuries. Tasha said: “They will stay with her for most of her life. The doctors say when she is in her teens they can break her jaw and re-set it.”
