-

Here’s what to be aware of:

Persistent bloating (not bloating that comes and goes)

Urinary symptoms (needing to go to the loo more often or more urgently than usual) Pelvic or abdominal pain Feeling full quickly and/or loss of appetite

Occasionally there can be other symptoms – changes in bowel habit (diarrhoea or constipation), extreme fatigue and unexplained weight loss. And post-menopausal bleeding should always be checked by a doctor.

You can download the Target Ovarian Cancer Symptoms Diary app free via the charity’s website (targetovariancancer.org.uk) or direct from the App Store or Google Play. It tracks symptoms, which you can discuss with your GP.
