‘I’ve killed my dad & buried him in garden’
POLICE began digging up a garden after a woman walked into a police station and said she had killed her father.
The 63-year-old told officers she had buried him some years ago.
Scenes of crime officers yesterday sealed off the property in Reddish, Stockport, as a murder probe got underway.
Detectives said last night the man’s family are being supported by specially trained officers.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody for questioning.
Detective Insp Dan Clegg, from Greater Manchester Police, said: “It’s still very early days in our investigation. I’m sure this has been worrying for people in the local area.”
