Blue Peter has emerged as the all-time most popular children’s TV show in a poll. Aw, come on folks... you’re adults now, you can tell the truth.

Blue Peter was the most tedious, anodyne, half-hour telly ever produced.

Collecting milk bottle tops for charity and making that advent crown (out of fireproof tinsel, obviously) may stir warm memories but back then it was the pinnacle of dull.
